Higher natural gas bills coming

Lawmakers reject school reopening bill

Kansas lawmakers on Tuesday rejected a Republican proposal to require all Kansas public schools offer every student in-person classes by March 26th. The vote was 69 to 55. The bill would have overridden a few local school districts’ decisions to wait longer than March 26th to reopen to in-person classes because of the coronavirus pandemic.
