KU dropping entrance exams

The University of Kansas is doing away with entrance exams. The Kansas Board of Regents approved new standards that would allow any student with a 3.25 GPA to be admitted without taking the ACT or SAT. Prospective students who take the ACT will only need to get a 21 and have at least a GPA of 2.0 to be guaranteed a spot at KU. The changes are set to be in place for the freshman class that starts in the spring 2022 semester.
