Butler county offering vaccines

Butler County Kansas Health Department says Incoming Kindergarten -12th grade students needing school vaccines, and those age 12-18 needing a Covid-19 vaccine can schedule an appointment online for June 9 from 1 – 5 pm. The website to register is on the Facebook page for the health department.

Number of abortions in Kansas increases

The State Department of Health and Environment says the number of abortions performed in Kansas increased by 9.1% last year over 2019, and the increase is largely driven by women who traveled to Kansas from out of state to get their procedures.
