Watch out for this traffic problem: the City of Ark City says the The East Madison Avenue bridge across the Walnut River will be reduced to one lane Friday. The lane closure will start first thing in the morning on Friday and continue until a regularly scheduled inspection of the bridge structure is complete. Expect delays in crossing the bridge on Friday. At least one lane should remain open at all times.
