Lawmakers reject mask order

Kansas lawmakers yesterday rejected an effort to keep mask mandates in place in Kansas. The governor’s order required people to wear masks indoors at businesses and public spaces, and outdoors when they can’t be socially distanced. But legislative leaders overturned the order.

County Museum set to reopen

The Cowley County Historical Society and Museum is making plans to reopen soon. Starting April 10th, the museum will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 until 4 p.m, according to ctnewsonline.com. Masks are required to enter. It’ll remain closed during the week. Groups tours can be arranged by calling 620-221-4811.
