The CIty of Ark City says Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland announced more than $4.1 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for 12 projects across Kansas-and Arkansas City is one of the award recipients. Arkansas City will receive $628,728 to add new playground equipment at Wilson Park. The City Commission will consider approval of the grant agreement at this Tuesday night’s meeting. This investment supports quality of life in our community and helps ensure Wilson Park continues to be a place where families can gather, play, and make memories.
