The Winfield Arts & Humanities Council invites creative people to participate in the 51st Annual Art in the Park Costume Contest on Saturday, October 4th in Island Park. Costumes should include extraterrestrial or space themes. Special effect makeup and prosthetics are highly encouraged, the weirder – the better. Those wanting to participate should meet at the Island Park Performance Venue at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 4th dressed in their costume to be judged. The winner will walk away with Chamber Checks and a basket of goodies. Any offensive, political, or inappropriate costumes will be disqualified. Art in the Park is a family-friendly event and contestants should keep that in mind when deciding on their costume.
