The City-Cowley County Health Department says with the return of Winfield’s world-famous Walnut Valley Festival, thousands will congregate at the Fairgrounds to enjoy bluegrass music. To protect the health of the community and those in attendance, the Health Department will be present at the Fairgrounds in the days leading up to the festival. Our trained staff will be onsite, delivering vital services, including flu, RSV, & COVID shots, as well as basic first aid and other services.
The Health Department’s trailer will be located by the South Entrance Gate to the Winfield Fairgrounds on the following dates and times:
• Friday, September 12 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
• Monday, September 15 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
• Tuesday, September 16 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
• Wednesday, September 17 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
