For the second time in just over a week, firefighters in Arkansas City were called to a house fire at the same address.
Just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1500 block of North 3rd Street. Upon arrival, crews found the structure ablaze, as seen in a video from Cowley Post. Investigators noted that the home had no active utilities. A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The same home previously caught fire back on March 3.
