The Arkansas City Community Band will begin their 154th season of providing free music for the community with a concert on Thursday May 23rd at 7:30pm in the Wilson Park Rotunda. The group is made up of a wide range of musicians from all walks of life, ranging in age from 14 to 70. Throughout the season, the band will perform a wide variety of traditional and modern concert band selections. The first concert of the season will focus on American music, not all necessarily patriotic, but all with a distinctive American flavor. All Community Band concerts are free and open to the public.
