Cowley County Emergency Management says Please join us on February 15, 2024 at 6:30pm for a presentation of Storm Fury on the Plains by the US National Weather Service Wichita Kansas at the Cowley Cinema 8 theater between Arkansas City and Winfield (US77 Hwy and 222nd Rd). This presentation covers what to watch for during severe weather and information for storm spotters. The Cowley County Emergency Auxiliary will give away 3 Midland Weather Radios through a drawing (must be present to win) and volunteers will be on hand to visit with anyone interested in joining the group. This is a free event and registration is not necessary.
