Do you have a vehicle needing a VIN inspection? The Winfield Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol have scheduled times they complete these inspections on a first come first served basis. Be sure you bring your vehicle title, your VALID driver’s license, and $20 cash. The inspections are at the fairgrounds Barn number 4, unless otherwise noted, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Inspections for salvage, rebuilt, or off-road vehicles are completed by the Kansas State Highway Patrol at the Kansas Department of Transportation on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
