Community Cleanup Week is coming up soon in Ark City. It’s October 9th-13th. City crews will collect only non-household trash from active sanitation customers. Place items by 6 a.m. next to your polly cart on your designated sanitation day. Items accepted include small and large appliances, indoor or outdoor furniture, unwanted household items, and grills without propane tanks. Items should be bundled, boxed, or tied, and must not exceed 50 pounds. They will not accept yard waste, electronic waste, construction material, tires of any kind, paint or chemicals, vehicles, car bodies or mechanial parts. Reminder that routes may take longer than expected. There will be no return visits.
