In light of public safety and community well-being, the Arkansas City Fire Department wants to remind citizens of restrictions on fireworks usage within the city limits. “Fireworks can only be ignited or discharged from June 27 to July 3 between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and July 4 between 8 a.m. and midnight,” Chet Ranzau, Fire Marshall, said. “These measures are being implemented to ensure the protection of citizens, prevent potential hazards, and minimize the risk of accidents and property damage.”
