Governor Laura Kelly tomorrow is set to join Sedgwick County leaders and mental health professionals to celebrate the passage of bipartisan legislation that creates the 9-8-8 crisis hotline for Kansans experiencing mental health emergencies. She will deliver brief remarks. Nationally, the hotline launches July 16th. The current National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number will still people available for people in need, after the new code becomes active.
