A warning from the Winfield Police Department about a scam text that is going around. They’ve posted an image of the text on their facebook page. Do not click on the link that’s in it. The text suggests it’s from the USPS. It takes you to a scam website made to look like the USPS website in an attempt to collect personal information. This text was received by a Winfield resident Saturday evening, so it may be making the rounds in our area.
