The Root Family will be serving as the 2021 Winfield Main Street Lighted Christmas Parade Marshals in memory of Kammi Root, a long-standing member of Winfield Main Street. Kammi was a member of the Winfield Main Street Board of Directors, and also served as the board chair for many years. Kammi was one of the founders of the Lighted Christmas Parade in 2011. The 11th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday at 6:30 PM. The parade will begin on Main Street at 17th Avenue and travel north to end at 10th Avenue. The parade is hosted by the Winfield Main Street Committee of the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Community National Bank and Trust. Santa Claus will be participating in the parade to wave to all the children.
