The Southwestern College Summer Theater Festival will hold auditions for the upcoming production of Roald Dahl’s “Matilda the Musical” on Friday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, May 22, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Richardson Performing Arts Center on the campus of Southwestern College. The auditions are open to anyone. Individuals auditioning can prepare a song or can sing a song from the show. Contact the director, Allyson Moon at allyson.moon@sckans.edu, in order to request audition materials for “Matilda the Musical.” Scenes from the show will be used for the acting portion of the audition and will be provided.
