Federal money is coming for improvements to Strother Field. The Strother Field Airport has been awarded over $149,000 in grant money, according to ctnewsonline.com. The money will be used to help in stall a slurry and crack seal on the aircraft parking apron. Strother Field is among 28 regional airports in the state getting money from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
