The Southwestern College theatre department will present the musical “Bright Star,” on Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17, at 7:30 p.m., and on Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m., in the Richardson Performing Arts Center on the campus of Southwestern College. Social distancing will be observed. Broadway’s “Bright Star” tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s. Tickets for the performance are $12 for adults, $6 for students, an $10 for seniors. There is no admission charge for SC students and employees.
