A new StoryWalk display has been installed at the Poplar Walking Trail in Ark City. A release from the Ark City school district says several community partners teamed up to offer the attraction, which runs along the first quarter-mile of the trail. The Ark City Public Library will maintain the StoryWalk, and the stories will be changed every two months. It’ll open in mid-February. The installation is part of a broader city plan that includes efforts to enhance trail features, including safe lighting and fitness stations along the trail.
