Lowell Elementary Roundup this week

The Kindgergarten Roundup for Lowell Elementary was rescheduled, and is now planned for this week. It’ll take place on Thursday, May 4th, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. This is open to families of children who will be 5 years old on or before August 31st, 2023.

Governor signs bill to boost skilled workforce

Governor Laura Kelly today signed House Bill 2292, which creates a tax credit for certain employers who create apprenticeship programs to strengthen and expand the Kansas workforce. House Bill 2292 also creates new grant programs that will support apprentices pursuing careers in education and health care.
