Winfield employees rebuild pergola

The City of Winfield says it was another great showing by our City employees, who replaced/rebuilt from the ground up a beautiful shade pergola at the Winfield Aquatic Center. There’s a picture of it up on their Facebook page. This in house project saved taxpayers more than $30,000.

Students take part in Elementary Honor Choir Day

USD 470 says last week 70 elementary students – many of whom are from Ark City – participated in the Elementary Honor Choir Day at Southwestern College. The students practiced all day to learn several pieces of music that they performed in a concert to end the event.
