Ark City gets new police officer

During the Nov. 7, 2023, City Commission meeting, Ethan Stephenson was sworn in as an officer with the Arkansas City Police Department. Stephenson began employment with the department on Oct. 19, 2023, and has completed all of the rigorous phases of the police department hiring process.

Ark City Middle School KAY Club takes part in food drive

The Arkansas City Middle School ACMS KAY Club is participating in the annual Richard Potterton Food Drive! You can help by donating non-perishable food items or money to ACMS by November 20. USD 465 has new board members

USD 465 says Laura Heger and Sarah Morton have been elected as new Board of Education members. Their term begins in January of 2024. Ed Trimmer and Kinnie Ledford were re-elected.
