A reminder of some upcoming opportunities to donate blood through the Red Cross. You can check out the blood drive on Friday August 9th, noon until 6 p.m. at Central Christian Church in Ark City. Then you can donate on Thursday August 15th from noon until 6 p.m. at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church in Winfield.

Low water pressure expected east of Chestnut Booster

The City of Ark City says due to unforeseen circumstances, city crews were unable to bring the Chestnut Booster back online yesterday as intended. Maintenance will need to be extended for a few more days. As a result, everyone east of this location may experience low water pressure.

Shift in VIN inspections
