Kansas moving ahead with vaccinations

Kansas has moved people aged 65 and older into the next group of people to get the COVID 19 vaccination. The govenror announced new details about who can get the vaccinations. People aged 65 to 74 are now moving to a higher priority.

Winfield mayor sworn in

Winfield’s new mayor was sworn in this week. Winfield City Commissioner Greg Thompson replaces former mayor Phil Jarvis. Thompson was sworn in on Monday. Jarvis remains on the board.

Ark City gets new mayor

The Vice Mayor of Arkansas City has become the new Mayor of the city. Scott Rogers takes the top spot from Karen Welch. The new Vice Mayor is Kanyon Gingher.
