State of the State planned for January 11

Governor Laura Kelly has officially accepted Speaker-elect of the House Dan Hawkins’ invite to present her State of the State address in-person to a joint Session of the Legislature. She’ll give the State of the State Address on Wednesday January 11th. The House convenes at 6 p.m., and her speech will start at 6:30 p.m.
