Fernanda Domingos-Raney, the first-ever two-time All-American in the history of the Cowley College volleyball program, will be the featured speaker at Cowley College’s Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7. Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. inside W.S. Scott Auditorium. Known as the athlete that helped return the Cowley College volleyball team back to prominence, the hard-hitting Domingos-Raney was inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019. Fernanda came to Cowley from Brazil where she did not begin playing volleyball until she was a teenager. Despite being late to the sport, Domingos-Raney was a quick learner and was recruited to play volleyball at Cowley College by former Lady Tiger head coach Joanna Pryor.
