Air National Guardsman dies after training exercise

A Kansas Air National Guardsman has been killed during a training exercise southwest of Salina, Kansas. The Kansas Air National Guard says a vehicle overturned during an exercise at Smoky Hill Air National Guard Range. Three airmen from the 284th Air Support Operations Squadron assigned to the 184th Wing were injured. One of them died while being transported by helicopter to a Wichita hospital. The cause of the incident is under investigation. The name of the guardsman who died has not been released.
