The City of Ark City says work has begun in the area of Linden & Birch, between C Street and D Street, to replace a large sewer main. As part of the project, all customer service taps connected to the line will also be replaced, meaning everything along the City easement in that section will be new. The work is expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. At this time, sewer service to customers in the area is not expected to be affected.
