The last day to register for Ark City PD’s DARE Camp is this Friday the 18th. D.A.R.E. camp is a week long summer day camp that is provided to students going into 6th-8th grade. It’s August 4th to 8th. This camp is free to the students that wish to attend. The camp is not only geared to creating and maintaining connections with the youth of Ark City, but to help educate them about issues that they will face in the upcoming years. Officers play games and different activities with students as well as educate them about law enforcement careers.
