Winfield police say they’ve had an uptick in stolen motor vehicles recently. Through investigation, officers learned in most of these cases a key to the vehicle was left inside, and oftentimes the doors to the vehicle were unlocked. We’re asking you to help reduce the risk of becoming a victim by removing valuables and spare keys from the vehicle and locking the doors.
