As we enter the summer months, the Arkansas City Police Department wants to remind all pet owners of the local pet ordinances. We have recently seen an increase in animal related incidents. 8 of those incidents resulted in injuries. All citizens are reminded that animals can not just run at large and they must all have appropriate and up to date vaccinations. The police department will be taking a proactive approach in enforcing all local animal laws. These can be found by visiting www.arkcity.org and searching municipal codes.
