Crews respond to vacant house fire

Fire crews were out on the scene of a vacant house fire in Winfield this weekend. Winfield Fire/EMS were sent out to the 400 block of Bliss Street at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Crews found heavy fire involvement on the north side of the house, with fire being contained to a small addition to the original one-story building. Investigators say that fire was intentionally set, according to kake.com. It took about a half-hour for firefighters to get the fire under control.
