The City of Ark City says they’ve received some complaints about pet waste in the downtown area, and we want to keep our sidewalks and storefronts welcoming for everyone. If you’re walking your four-legged friends downtown-or in one of our many parks and trails-please remember to clean up after them. And because we know accidents can happen, here’s a helpful reminder: if you’re in the downtown area, you’ll find a pet waste bag dispenser on the light pole outside the Arkansas City Chamber of Commerce at 106 S. Summit Street.
