Winfield Fire/EMS says we’re under a week away from the 8th Annual Winfield Fire/EMS 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the 77 Steps at Southwestern College. Join us on Thursday, September 11, anytime between 5:00 and 9:00 a.m. for this meaningful, come-and-go tribute. This free event honors those who gave their lives and those who answered the call on 9/11. Participants will carry a photo of a fallen hero and climb in remembrance of the 2,071 steps of the Twin Towers. No registration needed – just show up, climb, and help us ensure we never forget.
