The City of Ark City says the Chestnut Booster Station is currently experiencing control system issues that are affecting water pressure in the eastern part of town. Unfortunately, it has taken some time to get a technician scheduled, but one is expected to arrive Thursday morning to make the necessary repairs. We’re hopeful the station will be back online soon. We appreciate your patience as we work through these challenges. These technical upgrades are part of our ongoing efforts to improve the reliability of our water system. We’re also excited to share that the new water tower project is moving forward. The City has acquired the land, and our engineering team is working on the design and planning. Once complete, the new tower will help improve water pressure and strengthen our overall infrastructure.
