The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office says an autopsy has been performed on the human remains located on July 23, 2025, in Cowley County. The body has been identified as that of Emile Porterfield-Hill. Hill had been reported missing from Sumner County. The manner of death has been ruled as pending investigation, but early indications do not show any signs of obvious acute injuries.
