The Ark City Police Department says they’ve been made aware of a scam circulating where people are receiving text messages claiming they owe fines or fees for traffic tickets – often with a link to “pay now.” Do NOT click on unknown links. If you have a question about a traffic ticket:

Contact your local Municipal or District Court directly for any information.
Our courts will NEVER solicit payment via text message. Stay alert and help us spread the word to keep our community safe from these scams!
