The City-Cowley County Health Department, William Newton Hospital, and other community partners are collaborating to create a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), a strategic plan that will guide health-improvement efforts in the county for the next 3 years. To accomplish this, there are two Community Meetings. We invite you to join these meetings and let your voice be heard. With your input, we can shape the future of health in Cowley County. The Community Meetings will focus on four topics from the 2024 HealthCounts survey: Housing, Healthcare Access, Food & Nutrition, and Substance Use & Misuse. Join us on Monday, March 24, in Arkansas City at the Cowley County Brown Center or on Tuesday, March 25, in Winfield at the Physicians Pavilion. Both meetings will be from 5:00-7:00 PM. Participation is free and food & refreshments provided. Participants are requested to RSVP by March 18.
