The City of Arkansas City, the City of Winfield, and the Cowley County Economic Development Partnership are teaming up with Hanna:Keelan Associates to update the Cowley County Housing Study-last completed in 2014. This study will provide critical insights to shape future housing development across the county! What’s in the Study? It’ll analyze current housing needs, identify future housing priorities, support downtown redevelopment, develop innovative housing programs, and ensure fair housing for all. They need your input! Your feedback will help shape housing strategies for families, workers, retirees, and more. If you want to participate, there’s a link up on the City of Winfield’s Facebook page. The updated Housing Study will be completed by April 1, 2025.
