Winfield schools superintendent Tricia Reiser has updated the PowerSchool data breach that they learned about last week. She says they have learned that the breach has affected the district’s data. She says the IT department has identified the data that was involved in the breach, and they are working with PowerSchool to address the situation and stay to up date on all critical updates. She says they already set up two-step authentication and made sure all PowerSchool passwords were encrypted. She says they also have locked down all sensitive information to prevent further unauthorized access.
