A public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Cowley County Courthouse (311 E 9th Ave., Winfield, KS) to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about and participate in the efforts to make Cowley County streets and roads safer for all. Cowley County is creating a comprehensive safety action plan that involves residents in developing programs and projects designed to save lives and reduce transportation safety risks throughout the county. Preliminary findings and other information will be presented at the meeting by the Cowley County Safety Task Force.
