Ponca City Police are searching for 26-year-old Sylvia Gomez who was last seen on July 7 at an address on U Street, which is outside of the city limits in Kay County.
She is 5’5, around 120 pounds, has a tattoo across her chest that says “Creek”, a tattoo down the back of her leg that says “Gomez”, has black hair and brown eyes.
Ponca City Police also clarified, in response to unconfirmed reports circulating on social media, that law enforcement has not confirmed the identification of any dead people as Gomez. They are urging the public to refrain from spreading unconfirmed information.
Police said the investigation remains open and they will provide updates as more information becomes available.
