At the June 4 City Commission meeting, Mayor Jay Warren proudly proclaimed June 19, 2024, as Juneteenth National Independence Day in Arkansas City! Mayor Warren was joined by Robin Henderson from Juneteenth Cowley County. An exciting lineup of Juneteenth celebrations is planned for our community.
