With four singles national champions and two doubles champs, the Cowley College women’s tennis team placed first at the NJCAA Division I National Championships held May 4-8 at the JoAnn Medlock Murphy Tennis Center in Tyler, TX. The title was the first in the history of the program. With six of Cowley’s eight players being freshmen, the Lady Tigers should enter next season ranked No. 1 with a chance to repeat as national champs.
