City of Arkansas City’s Public Service Department is close to finishing the first half of the Central Trail, with final touches being applied near Paris Park. Crews began work on the trail, which extends from the Northwest Community Center to Paris Park Pool in March. Looking ahead to next year, crews will continue their work, focusing on constructing the second half of the trail from Lovie Watson Park to Kansas Avenue.
