The Winfield Police Department says On February 4th, 2024, at approximately 1430 hours, members from the Winfield Fire Department along with Winfield Police Department responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of Bliss Street. When personnel arrived, they located a vacant residence with an active fire. After the fire was extinguished, fire investigators began processing the scene and later determined the fire was intentionally set. Anyone with information regarding the crime or any crime that occurred in Cowley County is eligible to receive a reward by submitting a tip through Crime Stoppers by calling (620) 221-7777.
