The Arkansas City Police Department wants to notify citizens of a recent string of storage unit burglaries, thefts and criminal damage to property. Officers began taking reports of these incidents on 01/24/2024. These crimes have been reported at a vast majority of the storage unit properties in Ark City and all have similarities. These crimes could be connected to storage unit burglaries in Winfield as well. This is an ongoing investigation, and we ask that if you have a storage unit, please check it.
