The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued a stream advisory for a stream locally known as Four Mile Creek, Wichita, Sedgwick County, running east of K-96 between points near 21st Street North and Crestview Country Club near 13th Street.
The stream advisory is due to wastewater overflow resulting in elevated levels of E. coli.
KDHE will rescind the advisory once the stream is deemed safe for secondary (wading) contact and livestock use.
